Policy Statement:

Edgar Shopfitting Ltd is committed to minimising waste and recycling materials wherever possible. We recognise that construction and shopfitting projects can generate significant waste, and we aim to reduce, reuse, and recycle as much as possible in accordance with the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1GG7.

Scope:

This policy applies to all employees and subcontractors working on-site and in the workshop.

Objectives:

• Reduce the amount of waste generated on construction sites and in the workshop.
• Recycle and reuse materials to reduce environmental impact.
• Comply with all relevant waste management regulations and dispose of waste responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Employees: Must follow waste disposal procedures and use recycling facilities where available.
• Management: Ensure waste management practices are implemented, monitor waste production on projects, and maintain compliance with local waste disposal laws.

Consequences:

Failure to comply with the waste management policy may result in corrective actions and potential disciplinary measures if waste is disposed of improperly.
